Facts and Statistics

The Baruch College interactive Fact Book provides a ten-year trend overview of the college. Use the Fact Book to study enrollment patterns, retention, and graduation rates, and degrees awarded by each school (Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, or Zicklin School of Business). The data can be viewed by major and ethnicity.
The College Navigator website is managed by The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), a division of the U.S. Department of Education. It is the primary federal entity responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to postsecondary education in the United States. Each year, NCES collects a broad range of information from postsecondary institutions through the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Much of this information is then sorted, organized, and presented to the public on the website.
Other Statistical Reports
The Common Data Set (CDS) is a detailed report covering college-wide information. Data are presented in the same common format used by most institutions of higher education to facilitate comparisons among institutions.
The Higher Education Act requires that institutions that participate in federal student aid programs report data on enrollments, program completions, graduation rates, faculty and staff, finances, institutional prices, and student financial aid. Data is collected through the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and is the basis for the easy to use College Navigator page.
